Travel Information

Location. Hyatt Regency New Brunwsick, New Jersey

New Brunswick is located in the central part of New Jersey.

Some travel support is available for students and postdocs. Applications are due by September 21, 2012.

BY AIR. We recommend air travel to the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), located in Newark, New Jersey. Kennedy (JFK) and LaGuardia (LGA) airports located in New York are also used, but they add at least two hours travel time and considerable expense.

From Newark Airport:    
     
  • The NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line now offers convenient train service from Newark International Airport to Metropark, New Brunswick, Princton Junction, and other stations.

    If you are coming from Newark Airport and going directly to the Hyatt Regency or Downtown New Brunswick area, take the AirTrain to the train station and buy a ticket to New Brunswick. You should get off at the New Brunswick train station and walk or take a taxi to the hotel. Please note The Hyatt is 2 blocks from the train station (easy walking distance).
 
  • State Shuttle is a shared van service. Reservations can be made on the State Shuttle Web site: http://www.stateshuttle.com/. Reservations should be made 24 hours in advance and require a credit card. Contact phone number: 800-427-3207 (US) or 973-347-3144.

    Driving Directions From Newark Airport:

    • Take the New Jersey Turnpike South 19 miles to Exit 9. Proceed on Route 18 North 3 miles to Route 27 South. Travel 2 blocks to Nielson Street. Turn left. The Hyatt Regency is on left.

      Parking at The Hyatt Regency:

      Parking is available at the hotel for FOCS 2012 participants at $8/day.

      NJ Transit is more frequent but only serves New York City and New Jersey locations.
