The conference hotel will be the Hyatt Rickey's Hotel,
which is located just a few miles from downtown Palo Alto and Stanford
University. The hotel boasts excellent conference facilities, as well
as a heated outdoor pool, a fully equipped exercise facility, and a
croquet lawn and putting green. There are numerous nearby
restaurants, including the wide selection in downtown Palo Alto.
The conference rates will be $129 plus tax for a single room and $154
plus tax for a double. Information regarding where to call for
reservations will be posted shortly. To receive the conference rates,
be sure to mention "FOCS 98".
The Hyatt Rickey's Hotel hotel is located 15 miles from San
Jose International Airport and 25 miles from San Francisco
International Airport. The hotel is easily accessible from
either airport by shuttle or by taxi. For shuttles, you
are advised to try calling in advance. There are also
several car rental locations at both airports and at the hotel.

Road. Turn left onto Page Mill. Follow it down to El Camino. Turn
right onto El Camino. The hotel will be approximately 2 miles on the
left.
- From San Jose (including airport) : Take 101 North
to the San Antonio Road exit. Follow San Antonio to
El Camino Real. Turn right onto El Camino. Proceed
approximately 1/2 mile. The hotel is on the right
